 Explora is EBSCO's research interface designed specifically  for students and educators. Students can look up articles and facts for research papers, class projects, and homework from the world's leading magazines and reference books.

The elementary school version highlights relevant, reliable, and age-appropriate content that’s easy and fun for young learners to search and explore. The secondary school version features relevant and reliable content and easy-to-use functionality to help high school students successfully complete their research.

With Explora, you will discover reliable information on thousands of topics covering a wide range of subjects including art and music, literature, language arts, geography, history, social studies, world cultures and languages, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, health and sports.

Research databases primarily provide access to peer-reviewed journals that are the most scholarly research reports or articles published and approved by a team of experts and considered a trustworthy source of information. It consist of seventeen databases which provide access to the full-text, and images of a large collection of journals, e-books, magazines, market and industry reports, as well as newspapers in various disciplines.

 

To fully enjoy EBSCO's offerings, please follow these steps in setting up a personal EBSCOhost account using your XSN email credentials.

1.  Go to search.ebscohost.com to sign in with the assigned login credentials.

(Please send us an email to know the assigned login credentials of your grade level)

2. Select one of the following databases: Explora for Grade School, Explora for High School, and Research Databases in the XSN's EBSCOhost main interface.

3. Click "Sign in" in the top toolbar of the database homepage.

4. From the sign in screen, click the "Sign up" link.

5. If you are on the create account 
screen, click the "Continue with Google" button.
 

  • If you are already logged into your google account, you are prompted for permission to associate your account with EBSCO.

  • If you are not logged into your google account, you are presented with a google sign-in screen to enter your credentials (i.e. username, and password).

6. After successful Google sign-in, click "Continue" to confirm your wish to create an account using your XSN email credentials.
